This is the front cover of my newspaper, from doing lots of research i have tried to take elements from each paper i have looked at and added it to my own, like the layout and content. I have not used too many colours as I didn't want it to look too crowded on the page and then when the paper goes to print it wont be too expensive. I tried to make the Masthead stand out so it would look eye catching on the shelves in the shops. I positioned the images in the central reservation on the newspaper so it in the readers eye line which will attract the reader.
